However, Hong Kong’s rules say you can skip the 4-month quarantine. To do this, you must show that your pet has not been in a high rabies risk area for at least six months before import.

Most experts consider most countries high risk, except for a few like the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii.
